AP AgTech Summit 2017: Progressive Farmer, Smart Farming

 AP AgTech Summit 2017: Progressive Farmer, Smart Farming, an initiative of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, being held in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Dalberg Advisors, and Confederation of Indian Industry. The Summit will be a global event that will be held in the FinTech Capital and Smart City, Visakhapatnam, on November 15-17, 2017 and will be led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu. The co-chair and trustee of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Mr. Bill Gates, will also be present. The event will be inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister on November 15, 2017.

Andhra Pradesh is at the forefront of technology-driven transformation in agriculture, and has set ambitious agricultural goals in the Sunrise Andhra Pradesh Vision 2029. To build on this momentum, the Summit will bring together 40+ speakers and 1000 delegates to discuss innovative ideas for agricultural transformation in the State and beyond through 8+ panel discussions, the #SmartFarming4AP Pitch Competition, and an exhibitions track for entrepreneurs to showcase their AgTech solutions. The programme schedule has been attached to this email.
