Ease of Doing Business with KSIDC

As you are aware, Kerala has been placed in the 20th position in terms of Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) in the country in the latest by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Govt. of India in 2016. The ranking was based on specific parameters viz., starting a business, dealing with construction permits, registering property, paying taxes, trading across borders, enforcing contracts and resolving insolvency.

DIPP has forwarded the Business Reform Action Plan for 2017 consisting of 371 action items/recommendations. DIPP will carry out a comprehensive business-to-government (B2G) feedback exercise this year, whereby feedback will be taken from businesses on the quality of implementation of the reforms claimed by the States/ UTs. The responses received from the survey will be utilized in ranking the State for 2017.

Against this background, Confederation of Indian Industryalong with Kerala State Industries Development Corporation (KSIDC) is jointly organizing a Session on the Ease of Doing Business at 1030 a.m. on 16 September 2017 at Radisson Blu, Kochi. The Session aims at providing awareness on the EoDB initiatives of the State and the Business Reform Action Plan for 2017.
