| Science Excursion |
A science excursion was organized for the
students of Kanjirappally region on
17th April 2017 at 10:00 AM. The programme began by an introduction about the programme, given by by Prof. Ajai Mathew, Assistant Professor,
Electronics Communication Department. An
It was followed by a Session by Prof.
Sherin Sam Jose,
CEO, Startups Valley TBI. The session aimed at motivation the
students to think different, make innovations and Development of that idea into a successful
startup. The session ended by 1:00 PM and they broke for
lunch.
The afternoon session began by 2 PM. During
this session, the group was split into 5 groups and were taken for a visit to
various labs in the campus. They were also taken to Eicher lab, Anfort, TBI,
Kempi and Bosh. The campus visit was over by 3:20PM. Then they had tea and
snacks.
The third session started at 3:30 PM and
was handled by Rev. Dr. Mathew Paikatt, Manager, Amal Jyothi College of
Engineering. The session was over by 3:50 PM.
