Entries are welcomed to Interface startup challenge until 10th October 2017. Bring in your startup ideas, be it in the planning phase, or prototyping or even if it's already out there. Interface will be a platform to showcase your idea, to meet like-minded individuals, investors and to get yourself enlightened with talks, panel discussions, and many interactive sessions.

Tathva is the annual techno-management fest conducted by the National Institute of Technology, Calicut. National Institute of Technology, Calicut is a federally funded technical university and an institute of national importance. Formerly known as Regional Engineering College, Calicut (REC Calicut), NIT Calicut is now one of the premier institutes in the country for technical education, with a student population of around 4200 undergraduate, as well as over 1000 postgraduate students.

Originally conceived as a technical symposium in the year 2000, Tathva has since then evolved into becoming one of the largest events of its kind in India. Every year, the students of NIT Calicut strive to push Tathva to new heights, and with Tathva ’17, it is no different. Featuring a plethora of competitions, workshops, lectures as well as pro-nights, Tathva attracts students from all over India, with a footfall of nearly 10,000 for Tathva ’17. With eminent speakers such as Jimmy Wales, Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Aaron Swartz and Padma Shri M.S Raghunathan gracing the occasion with their presence and sharing with us their valuable wisdom, Tathva has always had such powerful speakers to motivate and initiate us to the world of Technology and the world in general.

Interface, as mentioned above is Tathva's startup mission. Starting out as IEEE NITC SB's event to promote startup ideas, and inviting abstracts and submissions from throughout the State, Interface has now grown to a summit for such budding entrepreneurs and companies with an association with the TinkerHub NITC chapter. Our prime objective remains to find the best and most innovative startup idea of the year throughout colleges and incubation cells across the State. Along with that, we hold various talks, an expo of game-changing startups, and many panel talks for participants to interact and gain.

We hereby attach the guidelines regarding the various phases of the event along with the brochure, rules and regulations, promo video and the poster. Prizes worth 1 lakh rupees await you, and this year at Interface, you could perhaps get a chance at seeding your company by a governmental organization.
