Inviting Expression of Interest from Startups to develop mobile application software for Government Departments from the startups in Kerala

Kerala Startup Mission is inviting EOI to develop mobile application (smart phone and tablet based) software for Government Departments from the startups in Kerala. The software compatibility with iPhone, Android and Windows mobiles is desirable. This EOI is invited in light of the recent Government order released by the Government of Kerala that enables to Government departments to purchase mobile apps from startups directly subject to a condition that the cost of development is under Rs 5 Lakhs.

The applying firms should have a product that can be of potential use for a department under the Government of Kerala and also should have good understanding of mobile application software development. The company shall be registered startup with any of the incubators in Kerala or shall be a startup entitled with the Startup India scheme.

Process:
The selected startup will be called in for a Demo day organized by Kerala Startup Mission wherein the startup will get an opportunity to present the product directly with the concerned department authorities.
If the department finds the application useful then the startup shall submit a detailed technical and financial estimate to Kerala Startup Mission. Based on which KSUM shall recommend the same.
